The project kits also include hints and tips about the techniques from managing colours, dealing with ends and applying techniques such as Mitres to garment construction.
Kits for Swing, Swagger, Drape: Many designs in the book use Signatur 8ply Dk - avaliable from Ozeyarns in over 40 colours. Merino VI and Merino VIII are Italian spun wool, for which Ozeyarns has Australian wool subsitues, as well as some of the original yarns like Tonalita. Jane Slicer-Smith has an honors degree in knitwear design from Trent University in England and extensive experience as a designers and producer of hand knitted garments and knitting kits through her company, Signatur Handknits (sigknit.com). When she is not tecahing in the US and England, she is at home in Sydney, Australia.
