A fabulous swingcoat with fan & bobble pattern

Classic Texture for this three-quarter length Fan & Cable swingcoat. Styled to swing over the hips, yet with a tailored fit over the shoulders. Fan & Cable has a vertical textured panels between cables. The shaping takes the swing of the skirt and tailors it into a fitted shoulder. The stitch pattern features a fan with bobbles worked vertically between coloured cables. Knitted in Signatur's Australian Pure New Wool, from written instructions and diagrams. Knitted in Signatur 8ply/DK 100% Australian Pure New Wool. Shade card shows 48 colours and includes a yarn swatch. Knitted from instructions with diagrams and graphs. Tension 22sts to 10cm/4" on 4mm/ US #6ndls.

This design is for the lover of texture, simple pattern, however the panels decrease and increase in width affecting stitch count. Experienced knitter.
Instructions: The instructions commence with the sleeve to establish tension and gain an understanding of the stitch pattern. The first pattern repeat is given per garment piece. With the stitch pattern established, diagrams and instruction step you through the shaping. As with many of Jane's swingcoats, knitting from her patterns is a great lesson in shaping and styling.
