A personal note... ...from the founder of Ozeyarn - Juliana Ellis Hello Everyone, My aim is to provide you with a quality product at great price. I had lived in the USA for several years before moving back to Sydney. I was always surprised at the expensive price of yarn in
US stores, compared to what I was used to back in Australia. I also knew that Australian yarns were very high quality. So the idea for an online store supplying aussie yarn to US customers was born. As a knitter myself, I've sampled the yarns available in Australia, and selected a range of superior quality. Because I've lived in the US, I know the stores there and I have a good idea of what you look for. As well as woolen yarn, Ozeyarn has a range of cotton, cotton wool blends, alpaca, hand-dyed kid mohair, and cashmere. My goal is to have something for everyone. If there is anything that you would like to see included please send us an email and let us know. I knew the website had to have online credit card transactions. I've done a lot of internet shopping, and the one thing that annoyed me was shopping at a site, getting to the end of the process and then being told I could send in a fax order. What!? This was the Internet Age. I should be able to sit at my PC, browse the products, make my choice and pay for it all online, with the goods turning up on my doorstep a little while later. If I wanted mail order I would have asked for a catalog. Plenty of websites are still like this, including a lot of of yarn sites. I knew that the yarn selection had to be easy to get to, and to clearly show what it looked like. It also had to be safe and secure. In fact, the whole website was carefully designed to make it as easy and simple and pleasant as possible. And fun too. Lets not forget that! But what are you doing reading this?
